I was chatting last night with girlfriends in a bar last night. I was talking about the work I do for BVS, and I was surprised to hear some of the views of my friends.  Two of them confessed to reading romance stories and said they liked them. Humor is a funny thing, but has it got a place in romantic fiction?  Maybe you have strong views on this? I suppose like all things it depends on how well it is done. Humor can be a great way of relieving tension in a scene. For the life of me, I can’t think of an example in a book where it has worked well.
