Hump day and I am in the mood to chat  I have immersed myself in scripts this week, read one that I will recommend we publish, more on that in another blog. I love my job.  Ric and the team make it a great job to do.  It has been an interesting week at BVS, as a new book is out, Perilous Love by Jan Selbourne. Have you ever used song lyrics in one of your stories? This was a hot topic in the office this week. I love song lyrics because of the poetry of them and was going to reference them in a story I am writing.  Then I was told that you need permission to use them. I don’t know why that came as a surprise, but it did. Is it just me or have other authors been surprised by this rule? This was a question that came up as a response to a message.  Are bald men sexy? And is it a detail you would include in your writing?  My thoughts are, bald can be sexy under circumstances.
