In a reflective mood, we have had the first real hit of snow and England comes to a grinding halt. A real shame as we had a family gathering planned. On the upside, it looks beautiful outside, and I have had the opportunity to wrap all our family and friends Christmas presents. Snow always puts me in a festive mood. I should have been listening to Bing Crosby but instead, I listened to an old Phil Spector Christmas album. Really put me in the mood for mulled wine and mince pies.
How are your Christmas plans going? All set? Or do you leave it all until the last minute?
As a young single man, I left all the shopping until the last moment and as a consequence, all the presents were either booze or chocolates. The funny thing was nobody seemed to mind or at least didn’t tell me that they did.
As we are on the run-up to Christmas, I thought I’d mention our offers again. The offers are for Starla Kaye For the Love of Christmas. A 2 for 1 deal, a collection of short Christmas stories, Cowboys in Charge and Holly’s Big Bad Santa. The other offer is a buy 2 Get 1 Free from author Leslie McKelvey, her Accidental Encounters Trilogy the first time all three volumes have been sold together and is available from now until Christmas.
