For many, Easter is a time to gather with loved ones over a special meal to celebrate the season of spring, hope, and renewal. For others, it is filled with Easter egg hunts, bunnies, baskets full of a chocolate rabbit, eggs, jellybeans and hopefully a book or two. Both slow down the worries in our lives, the workload of the daily routine and bring people together in a joyful day of hope, peace, and love.
Here at BVS, we will join our families on Sunday to enjoy some quiet time, good conversation, and delicious food. We will most likely read a book to our nieces, nephews, or our own children. And when all have left for the day, we are sure to be found relaxing with a good novel before falling off to sleep.
