TURNING UP THE HEAT IN YOUR CHARACTER’S BEDROOM.

A friend and I were chatting about ramping up the heat in our stories. My friend and I started searching google, looking for ideas couples came up with for boosting a stagnant love life. We pondered which of these ideas would work in our stories. Then inevitably we started to confess which we had tried. As we chatted over a glass of wine, we agreed that there’s nothing more exhilarating than adding a dash of spice to your love life. And sex, no matter how good, is one of those things that you can keep making better. Now be honest here, which of these would you try? Or maybe you have already tried? If nothing else this might give you some ideas for a plotline.

Hide a silk scarf in his briefcase with a little note that says, “You’re going to need this later tonight.”
Kiss him softly for a minute and pull away, then go back a minute later and kiss him more passionately. Break again then go back building the heat each time.
Wear a daringly low-cut top, and during dinner “innocently” reach over for the salt.
Put a copy of the Kama Sutra on his night table.
Strongly hint that you’re in the mood, then play hard to get and make him work at seducing you.
Give him a sensual massage.
Make somewhere unusual, outside in warm summer rain?
Ask for a bite of his dinner and make him feed it to you on his fork.
Wear a thin summery button-up dress and during the night slowly undo them as the night unfolds.
Make love in front of a mirror so you can see every erotic angle of each other’s bodies.
Join him in the shower.
Run your nails over his whole body, just barely skimming his hot spots.
Let him watch you dress. Tease him with a reverse strip.
Initiate sex in the middle of the night.
Kiss his entire body by going on a detailed tour with your lips.
Whisper exactly what you’d like him to do to you in bed.
Read each other torrid passages from erotic books.
Buy skimpy lingerie, something black or scarlet.
“Christen” a room in your house where you’ve never done it before.
Watch an erotic movie together.
Text an invitation to a night of passion.
Ask for a neck rub and moan lustily when he presses into your neck.
Book into a hotel as Mr. and Mrs. Smith, stick a Do Not Disturb sign on the door.
Try giving him oral sex over his underwear.
Bring strawberries, honey, cream to bed and lick and eat off each other’s bodies.
Play out fantasies
Surprise him with a raunchy striptease.
Buy a new sex toy and find out how it feels on both of you.
Ask him to buckle the ankle strap on your sandal. When he gets on his knees, shift slightly so he can sneak a peek up your skirt.
During dinner run your toes up his leg as far as you can.
Try a blindfold on him, or you.
Why not try a little light bondage
Call him at the office and talk dirty to him.
Buy him silk boxers. Leave them on the bed with a note that says, “Can’t wait to see you in these.”
Play a game of strip poker.
Lube up your hands, then interlace your fingers and move them up and down his penis. The friction from your knuckles will drive him wild.
Play a randy round or two of truth or dare.
Buy whipped cream and tell him that he gets to dollop it anywhere.
Wear a short skirt and let him know you are not wearing panties.
