HOLIDAY READING

Still in a reflective mood what with the holidays and all.  I was thinking when you have time on your hands over holidays or during and after Christmas, do you read something seasonal?  For example last Christmas, I read Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, I think I enjoyed it more because of the time of year I read it.  Have you ever done that?  If not what books do you turn to?  Usual genre? Or something new?

I had the opportunity to go to a bookshop the other day, a genuinely lovely experience.  It had a coffee shop and encouraged people to read sample books.  Obviously good marketing, as usual, I bought more books than I had intended too, but I thought it was worth it.  I was wondering about your browsing habits do you still go to a bookshop? Or do you make your purchases online?

We have an offer running over this Black Friday weekend.  I have been so encouraged by it that we have decided to let it run from now until Christmas.  The offers are for Starla Kaye For the Love of Christmas.  A 2 for 1 deal, a collection of short Christmas stories, Cowboys in Charge and Holly’s Big Bad Santa.  The other offer is a buy 2 Get 1 Free from author Leslie McKelvey, her Accidental Encounters Trilogy the first time all three volumes have been sold together and is available from now until Christmas.
