This book has been fun to put together; I have always loved working with creative people. It makes for an interesting life, for the most part, it is a bit like being a juggler; during my working day I can end up talking about a dozen different projects all in various stages of completion.
Mystic Desire is a collection of short paranormal romance stories. I have always been a big fan of the short story genre, both reading and writing them. For the reader, it is a chance to read the work of a diverse group of authors. I have discovered some great new writers from reading short stories. From the author’s perspective, it gives us a chance to experiment on something new, try a different style, or something a bit more daring.
I have found the stories very entertaining. The themes in this book are varied, as are the collection of characters and artifacts, including Native American dream catchers, mystical jewelry, lustful vampires, hot warlocks, a grumpy leprechaun, a ghostly terrier, a zombie apocalypse and things that go bump in the night. There is something for everyone in this anthology, from soft and tender love to hot passionate, kinky sex.
