WHAT THE CAR SAYS ABOUT YOUR STORY CHARACTER.

Following on, from yesterday’s blog on cars and if women find a nice auto a magnet of attraction to the driver.  I had a couple of conversations with a writer friend who prompted this thought about the car your character drives and what that says about them.  We use props for our characters and vehicles say a lot about the person that drives it. Automobiles they use in novels can be rather a cliche, but it can help build a character persona. A Harley shortcut for a strong gang leader, it conjures up the image of a bad boy or a free spirit.  Perhaps a Jeep Wrangler or a pick-up might be a possible ride for the rugged outdoorsman type. Or the Ferrari might be a suitable drive for the wealthy playboy type. A Rolls-Royce, Bentley, or a Mercedes would work for the established billionaire.
