Do you remember your first kiss? Your first date?
On March 14, 2018 | 7 Comments

I’m charged, feeling in a fun mood, especially after the comments I got from Monday’s flirty blog.  I saw a post on  FB and I got to thinking. Do you remember your first kiss, first date, first romance book you read? What about your first O. Are they memories you cherish, or just big disappointments? Life is full of firsts.  Some firsts can be scary, exciting or even hot to try. Any other firsts you would like to share?

I guess I can’t ask you to share without me putting a couple down.  Lol.  My first kiss was with a boy I had a crush on in middle school. He kissed me after school. I had pictured that kiss with him all day in class. It was going to be magical. The reality was different, when he actually kissed me it was a wet, sloppy all tongue kiss. On top of that, he groaped me. The magic and crush disappeared at that moment and I never went out with him again..  The first proper date was just after leaving school, he was a bit older and he had a car. He took me out to a fast food restaurant. We were having a nice time until the drive home! It was like fighting off an octopus. I dumped him after that.  First romance book The Time Traveler’s Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger.  I am a sci-fi geek, what can I tell you.  I loved that story. Must have read it four or five times.  I thought the movie was a bit lame by comparison though.  Ok here is the biggie. The first O, Let’s just say it was amazing.

Then last first I am going to share was my first published story in the First Submission anthology.  I am really very proud to have a story published. And I can’t wait to have a second story out there!

Hi Amanda, that is really lovely that you are both still friends. I think it was a bit mean of the teacher calling your mom. It does sound like a nice way to have your first kiss. Curious, what did your mom say?

My first kiss was from my very first date. He took me bowling and then came back to my house to play basketball (I was, and still am, a tomboy). We were laughing and goofing around, then he quickly kissed me under the basketball hoop. For me, that was perfection.

A few days ago you mentioned that you read my manuscript Patrick from the Risking Love series that is out soon. In it I’m sure you enjoyed Jaq’s first O. I wonder who was lucky enough to have one just like hers. Wink, wink. I’ll never tell. And thank you for the lovely comments you made about Patrick. I’m thrilled that you liked it.
