Guest Blogging Here

We love to host guest bloggers here! Most of our guest bloggers come through Goddess Fish, a company that specializes in arranging blog tours for authors. Since most of our guest bloggers are booked through Goddess Fish our process for booking and hosting guest authors has evolved to work well with the way that Goddess Fish arranges tours. However, you do not have to book your guest stop through Goddess Fish. You can contact us directly and we will arrange a guest spot for you.

We welcome guest authors of all romance sub-genres. Many of our readers also read suspense, so we welcome suspense authors as well. Many of us like food and collecting recipes too so we wouldn’t turn away a guest author with a cookbook to pitch…especially if she/he shares a recipe or two.

The way it usually works is that we set a date for the guest appearance here. When we set the date I provide a few topics/questions for the author to use as a jumping off point for writing a topical guest blog post. I’ve also been known to do character interviews when I am particularly intrigued by a character from a blurb I’ve read or if I’ve read the book myself.

A few days before the guest appearance the author sends the guest blog post, the book cover image, their bio, the book blurb, the excerpt, the buy link, a link to their blog, Twitter, and Facebook pages to me by email. The morning of the blog appearance (usually 1 AM) I post the blog. During the day the author stops in to answer reader questions, and converse with our readers. On days when we have guest bloggers I try to stop in several times during the day to stir the pot a little to keep conversation moving.

We have a lot of readers. We average over 5000 page hits per day here, and that number grows all the time. The number of readers we have and the fact that our readers ask questions and comment when we have guest authors visit makes this a blog that a lot of authors enjoy visiting.

In your email please include the title of your book, the genre/sub-genre, and the cover blurb. Please include several dates that would work well for you as potential appearance dates. Dates tend to fill up quickly, so the more potential dates you send the more likely I’ll be able to book your spot.
