Check Out What Gabrielle’s Been Reading — Her Reads Add 1187 Pages To Million Pages Challenge Total

We have a few days between now and our next guest author post on Monday September 5, when I will be posting as my alter ego erotic romance author Alyssa Aaron. Since we have a few days between guest posts I thought I would tackle the Million Pages Challenge reads that you guys have sent me and post some of them. I don’t know about you, but as the weather edges toward fall and things seem to slow down and cool off I seem to read more, which makes this a great time to peruse the lists of books everyone else has read in search of books to add to my own TBR list.

Here’s one of several lists that Gabrielle has submitted. This list accounts for 1187 pages added to our Million Pages Challenge total. I will update you on our total pages read and pages still to be read after I’ve posted some more of your lists and tallied the books read.

Coworkers find themselves attracted to one another and through the help of another they are thrown together. This is a hot and cute romance.

Cracklin Rosie by Lissa Mathews — ebook — Spanking — BDSM — 101 pages

Rosie finds herself attracted to the man fixing her roof and hides her true self. But with his help she begins to trust and embrace her own wants and needs. Very good book about one woman’s discovery of her own self.

Breath Me In by Lex Valentine — ebook — M/M — 83 pages

This is a continuation of the series. I love the series and this book only enhances it. A wonderful love story. This author is an auto buy for me. One man thanks the only way to save his mate is to leave him but Wilson is not ready to give up on love.

Santana’s Heat by Kitty DuCane — ebook — paranormal — BDSM 185 pages

Santana is attacked and left for dead on Luc’s property. He is bound and determined to find out why but he must hide his true self from her. Wonderful love story with twists and turns that keep you on your toes.

Red Roses and Shattered Glass by H. C. Brown and others — anthology — ebook — BDSM 108 pages

Six different stories ranging from the paranormal to a couple that finds love after losing it. Gabrielle says, “I love H. C. Brown and that author’s story alone is worth reading the book.” This anthology does have some strong situations.

Icy Temptation by Marisa Chenery — ebook — paranormal — 75 pages

Ice skating coach Arwen lusts after the lead singer from the group Soar. When she goes to one of their concerts a connection happens between Arwen and Gannon. Gabrielle says “This is a great beginning to another wonderful series. This author is an auto buy for me.”

Viking Seduction: Blood Hunter by Brannan Black — ebook — paranormal — 99 pages

Gabrielle says, “Another of my favorite authors.” This is a story about vampires and hunters. Police detective O’grady must find out which side he is on. Gabrielle says, “Good story keeps you interested all the way to the end. I can’t wait to see what comes next.”

Spark My Moment Anthology by Jeremy Edwards — ebook — erotica — 205 pages

This was an interesting anthology of many different stories from one author. Gabrielle says, “not really my taste. I did not connect with any of the characters and did not enjoy the author’s writing style.”

The Journey by Gianna Bruno — ebook — fantasy — 89 pages

A witch must go on a journey to find her true love and husband. She must get help from fairies and deal with other magical beings. Gabrielle says, “I did not connect with the main character in this book at all. The writing style was good so I may look at other stories from this author.

Midsummer Night’s Steve by Sandra Sookoo — ebook — paranormal — 58 pages

This author takes us once again to visit the town of Strange Hollow. Reporter Steve Compton returns to Strange Hollow in search of another true story to prove himself. Gabrielle says, “I loved Steve and Zoe they were wonderful characters and endear themselves to the reader. This author is another auto buy for me and never disappoints.”
