I can pretty much see the floor where the boxes of things that needed to be unpacked into the newly remodeled kitchen used to sit so I guess it’s time for me to surface again and give another stab at catching up on all of the Million Pages Challenge posts that I am behind on. When I say I am behind, I am VERY behind. One reader alone has submitted 192 emails with her reads…so I will be catching up for a long time. The good news for you is that you (like I) will be able to check out what everyone else has been reading and add any interesting titles you may have missed to your to be purchased or to be won list.
Speaking of prizes, there are quite a few of those to award as well. Also a lot of new books to add to the books that can be won list. Look for these posts to be finding their way to the blog on days when we don’t have guest bloggers.
If you find that you are enjoying the guest bloggers, the prizes, the million pages read lists share the posts with your friends using the share buttons at the bottoms of the posts.
Regina dropped by the blog recently and sent me an email with her most recent reads so that we could add them to our Million Pages Challenge total.
Regina read Dark Hunger by Sara Reinke. Dark Hunger is a paranormal romance. Regina read it asĀ a Nook Book. It was 285 pages. Regina says that she would recommend the book.
Regina also read Jared by Sarah McCarty. Jared too is a paranormal romance. Regina read it as a Nook book of 283 pages and says that she would recommend it as well.
I personally am pleased to hear Regina’s recommendations because both of these books are on my shelves. Watch for them to join the to be won shelves when I have finished reading them.
The two books Regina read took 568 pages off the number of pages we need to read by the end of the year to have collectively read a million pages. We still have a lot of pages to read, so if you’re reading this and you haven’t shared your most recent reads here please do so. It’s easy. Send me an email listing the title, author, a bit about the book, whether you liked it, and how many pages the book was (if you know — if you don’t I can look it up or use some calculations to get pretty close.) Send the email to LaurieSanders@blackvelvetseductions.com Please use the subject line Million Pages Challenge so that your email will be filtered to the appropriate file.

Glad to see another reader adding to the list! I am working on my next list to send.
Thank you Regina – I have both of those on my wish list and it’s nice to see people recommend them.
Keep up the good work.
Way to go Regina.
