When cutting up the credit cards, complaints, and requests that she rein in her spending don’t work Alan decides that desperate times call for desperate measures and decides to introduce domestic discipline into their relationship.
In Intimate Submission Reese wants Jamie’s complete surrender. But Jamie believes she can’t surrender everything. She needs to hold something back…just for her. Her desire to hold something back conflicts sharply with Reese’s desire for her surrender creating tension in their marriage. In the end, Reese issues an ultimatum that shakes Jamie to her core and leaves their marriage teetering on the brink.
In Trusting Her by Starla Kaye rancher Sam Caldwell decides that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. In a funk, cranky with everyone, and feeling unable to shake the sour mood Sam decides that if a spanking jars his wife out of a foul mood maybe it will do the same for him…so he asks her to spank him.
In Secret Desires By Cara Bristol Morgan wants more than vanilla sex with her too good to be true boyfriend Jack. Jack makes love, he doesn’t have sex. Morgan loves him, but she isn’t sure she can spend a lifetime making love when she needs more…when her fantasies run toward rough and dirty sex. When she leaves Jack cooling his heels, waiting for her one too many times he threatens to spank her the next time she keeps him waiting. Congrats on the great review. I like to look for a relationship of trust that either begins or is established before the spanking comes into play in a story. I want the woman as well as the man to be strong not only in body but mostly in spirit and mind. The spanking should bring the couple closer together and strengthen their relationship. Of course the main thing I look for is love as in any book this is a must but especially in a D/s or discipline story.
I just love anthologies. They are great for when you a waiting for someone or waiting in a doctors office. I have no idea what elements I would look for in a spanking story. Sounds like a really great book. Congrats on the amazing review.
